Alt-F4 Functionality

It would be really cool to have this key combination working to quickly terminate the game if wanted, or at least put up a quit prompt at any state of the game.
Always ending every window and returning to the main menu to quit is a bit tedious!

I agree. The user should have the option of ejecting back to the Windows Desktop in a fast, seamless manner. I can think of a few reasons to want to do that : they are all related to wives, girlfriends, children, and bosses.

what kind of games do you play?

i think a complete quit command would be nice, but please dont ahve it be alt f4, i always press it on accident.

Well, this would be a RT4X. And still that command would be useful to get out now -- because the kid needs to know the weather, or the girlfriend wants you too pay attention to her now.

I don't care if it's alt+F4 or alt+Q or Whatever, as long as there is a fast exit-to-desktop-now key.

not alt q either... god i hated that in war3

i think the one i preferred the most was what med2 has, alt tab, right click on the window thingy (somebody please make this make sense) and then hit alt f4 and it would close

That is not really a shortcut

And why would anyone hit alt F4 in a regular game???
its not that the keys or ones close to it are used for anything

actually, i tend to use alt quite a bit, as well as f3, and if you ask anyone ive played with, i have a bad habit of hitting bad buttons >.<

I think this function is already there, I hit a couple of keys by mistake and bang game gone, desktop. Just don't know what keys I hit. LOL!

I just hit the window key then right click close the game in the task bar if i need to exit quickly.
